There are a number of temporary changes to our Sunday service due to Covid.

We recommend people wear a facemask or visor unless they are exempt.
We recommend sanitising hands upon arriving and leaving
We ask people to keep at least a 1 metre distance between families (2 chairs gap)
Children are asked to stay with their parents (Hope Kids isn’t operating at the moment)
There are no refreshments after the service but you can still stay and chat

UNITED is our Sunday morning service at Hope. Like many churches we worship God through song and hear a talk inspired by the Bible; but at Hope we want to do this in a way that is relevant, bringing the timeless truths of the Christian faith and relating them to everyday life. This is not about meaningless songs and dry theory; this is about real life.

United starts at 11:00am and finishes shortly after 12. Normally we all start together but after the first few songs the younger children have separate activities in Hope Kids United. This gives them the opportunity to engage in worship and learning activities that are appropriate for their age group.

Most weeks we take communion together. Everyone is welcome to join in and the juice is non-alcoholic and the bread is gluten free.

After the meeting ends you are invited to stay and chat over a tea or coffee.

What should I wear?

We believe that church is about spending time with God and people. It’s really about what’s happening on the inside, not having to fit in to a certain image and feeling uncomfortable. So just wear whatever makes you feel relaxed and at ease.

Hope Youth & Children

Hope Kids United is like a special service for children which takes place at the same time. It involves songs, games, craft activities and loads of fun!

Youth go out for a special meeting on the first Sunday of the month. Other Sundays they gather to put their own spin on the day’s food for thought.
