Sundays

UNITED is our Sunday morning service at Hope. Like many churches we worship God through song and hear a talk inspired by the Bible; but at Hope we want to do this in a way that is relevant, bringing the timeless truths of the Christian faith and relating them to everyday life. This is not about meaningless songs and dry theory; this is about real life.

United starts at 10:30am and finishes around 12. Normally we all start together but after the first few songs the younger children have separate activities in Hope Kids United. This gives them the opportunity to engage in worship and learning activities that are appropriate for their age group.
(This is happening fortnightly at the moment due to a volunteer shortage following covid. When Hope Kids isn’t on we provide crayons and activities for the children).

Most weeks we take communion together. Everyone is welcome to join in and the juice is non-alcoholic and the bread is gluten free.

After the meeting ends you are invited to stay and chat over a tea or coffee.

What should I wear?

We believe that church is about spending time with God and people. It’s really about what’s happening on the inside, not having to fit in to a certain image and feeling uncomfortable. So just wear whatever makes you feel relaxed and at ease.

Hope Youth & Children

Hope Kids United is like a special service for children which takes place at the same time. It involves songs, games, craft activities and loads of fun!
